Some 'similar' programs are nothing more than ecclesiastical degree mills offering little more than a strong catechism and ordination under valid, Apostolic lines of succession. We, on the other hand, expect you to stay within our growing Church as a productive clergyman following your training period. We also give you the tools and expect you to be well on the way to pastoring a successful parish at the time of your graduation and subsequent ordination to the Holy Priesthood. Furthermore, since we recognize that the high costs of becoming equipped for service within the Orthodox Catholic Priesthood may be prohibitive for many of our best candidates, we have established low-cost means for obtaining vestments, metalware, books, icons and all other needs for the well-equipped priest. For less than $50 per month, what some spend on cigarette smoking, you can fulfill your goal of becoming a priest. |
